Challenge

A leading multinational renewable energy company needed a centralized monitoring and actuation system that would allow it to remotely, securely and efficiently manage all of its photovoltaic plants worldwide. In addition, it wanted to secure ownership of the data generated at the plants in order to analyze it and build predictive models to optimize performance and availability.

Solution

An IoT platform with plant-specific software was designed and implemented, enabling real-time monitoring and action on assets from a single global interface. The solution includes map visualization, rapid alarm detection, forensic analysis, multi-device control and action automation.
