Description

EMAN+ is a strategic project that aims to transform mobility by creating an advanced digital ecosystem. It leverages technologies such as artificial intelligence, digital twins, the Internet of Things (IoT), and data spaces to improve transportation planning, management, and sustainability.

The project aligns with European and regional policies on smart and sustainable mobility and is led by a consortium of Basque companies with expertise in mobility, engineering, data, and infrastructure.

Objective

To develop an interoperable digital platform that integrates physical infrastructure, transportation services, and digital technologies, enabling smart, cooperative, and sustainable mobility management. The goal is to optimize traffic, improve energy efficiency, facilitate the electrification of transportation, and promote decision-making based on real-time data.

  • Design of a digital architecture based on edge/cloud computing
  • Development of an interoperable mobility data space
  • Implementation of digital twins for infrastructure and traffic
  • Application of AI for mobility prediction, simulation, and optimization
  • Validation of solutions across three use cases: sustainable infrastructure, cooperative traffic, and electric fleet management
