At Teknei, we are renewing our support for Barakaldo CF as official sponsors for the 2025–2026 season, continuing a partnership that began in the 2022–2023 season. This partnership reflects our values, our commitment to the local community, and our dedication to sports.
The MVP Initiative: Recognition, Passion, and Solidarity
This season, we launched the MVP initiative, designed to recognize the “Player of the Month” while also making a positive impact on the community.
It works simply:
- There are four MVP nominees each month.
- Voting takes place at the beginning of the following month on the official Barakaldo website.
- It stays fresh for about 10 days.
- And it will continue through May, coinciding with the end of the season.
The award is presented during the last home game of the month, where Teknei’s directors themselves present the award to the honored player.
The MVP Award includes:
- A dinner for two at Argaetxe Restaurant, located on Mount Argalario (Barakaldo), known for its views, cozy atmosphere, and Mediterranean and traditional cuisine featuring local ingredients. For more information, visit their website.
- A donation of €150 to a charitable cause selected by the Player of the Month.

To date, we have recognized four players and contributed to four highly valuable social projects:
SEPTEMBER — Beñat de Jesús

Founded in 1993 in Barakaldo, the organization works with people living in poverty or facing social exclusion, developing programs that provide support, guidance, and assistance with social and occupational integration.

A leading organization in adapted and inclusive sports for people with disabilities, offering programs that promote inclusion and equal opportunities through physical activity.

ONG: La Cuadri del Hospi
An association formed by families at Cruces Hospital, dedicated to making the daily lives of children with cancer more bearable, supporting their families, and promoting bone marrow donation.
